Manners Cost Nothing
Today has been an eventful day. It started (very) early with a discussion about gas cookers, pourous skin & The human body's ability to adapt. We've seen sunshine we've seen rain (http://youtu.be/L9fhxa8yFb0) we've seen crazy people on bridges (hi jackie). The most prevalent thing we've noticed is how friendly & polite boaters (as a whole) are. The odd exception has always been resident boaters. These people sometimes look on the weekend boater as a simpleton, hullabaloo However experienced the boater the attitude of "I know better than you cos I live on my boat!" upsets & annoys me as frequently the resident boater never actuallyoves anywhere.
That said we have got soaked wet through & survived urban boating & have also met up with old friends along the way. I'm reminded of a song by a showbiz legend....http://youtu.be/HjKmATGAre0
